Welcome to the Meersbrook Park After School Club

Who we are

We are an OFSTED registered company set up by a group of local parents in 1995 to provide out of school care and were one of the first clubs to be awarded Charter for Playwork and Inclusion

We provide a safe, secure, stimulating and supportive environment for children during out of school hours. Based in the Community Pavilion in Meersbrook Park, we serve two schools: Carfield Primary and Meersbrook Bank Primary. We also support children with SEN providing they do not require 1 to 1 care as we don not have the staff to facilitate this.

The Club

We are one of the most popular and longest running clubs in Sheffield.

Supporting Carfield Primary and Meersbrook Bank Primary School’s. For children from 4 years of age to year 6.

We can also offer care for SEN children of this age group.

After School Club

We have a child centred approach and try to provide a broad range of activities each session catering for the different types of play .

We open Monday to Friday during term time between the hours of 3 and 6 pm

Holiday Club

We also run Holiday Club during the first 2 weeks of the school summer holidays providing full or half day sessions including crafts, games, outdoor sports, swimming pool and outings.

The Team

All our team have Level 3 Safeguarding training and have their Paediatric First Aid qualification.

Breakfast Club

Our Breakfast Club has been operating since April 2015 from 7.30am providing healthy breakfast options and supervised play after which we escort children safely to school.

Our Aims

We are a Not-for-Profit Company and we work hard to make sure that the Club offers good quality, locally based, affordable and accessible out of school provision for children of all abilities in the local area.
